R-Type looks very good and sounds quite similar to the arcade original. Sadly, the control scheme rather spoils the experience for me. You have the option of a 'touch' implementation (where the ship is positioned by swiping the screen with your finger) or an 'arcade' option where you use a D-pad style control in the lower left corner. The coin-op classics, R-Type & R-Type II, are together on Nintendo Switch! Fight through all 14 Bydo-infested stages in retro 2D graphics or shiny 3D graphics - and swap back and forth with the. RType extend RSRuby to be rubyist can use R in a more Ruby way. RSRuby provide to access R functions and variables from Ruby and basic class conversion. And RType provide extended class conversion that convert R class to appropriate Ruby class that has many convenient methods. Convert R class to RType. Matrix = RType::Matrix. This is a simulation I made of R-Type futuring the first level (this was very hard to make) of the game. You can shoot and move, power up and use items, there is even a boss as the final enemy. I got pretty bored and I couldn't make a 'You Win!' Page after you killed the boss, when you do kill the boss you know you have won.
R-Type is a science-fictionhorizontal-scrolling shooter video game franchise developed and published by Irem for arcade systems and home game platforms. The first entry in the series was released in 1987, R-Type, followed by several sequels for other platforms. Nine games in total have been released in the series. Other pieces of media, such as plastic-resin model kits, soundtrack albums and literature, were also produced. The series centers on an intergalactic war between humans and the Bydo, a powerful extraterrestrial race that are made from both biological lifeforms and mechanical structures. Most games have the player controlling the R-9 'Arrowhead' star vessel, although other entries have slightly altered versions of the ship instead.
R-Type video games have been released for multiple home video game consoles, as well as personal computers, handheld systems and mobile phones. Several games in the series were also released for digital distribution services, such as Xbox Live Arcade, alongside dedicated compilation games for other systems. Most entries are horizontal-scrolling shooter games, although a number have expanded into other genres, such as tactical role-playing games. The R-Type series is considered one of the most important video game franchises established in the 1980s;[1] the original is also cited as one of the greatest video games ever made.[citation needed]
